Dewey Ave Pocket Park Planting

  • Dewey Ave Pocket Park 1612 Dewey Avenue Cincinnati, OH, 45205 United States (map)

Have you ever built a park? Well, now’s your chance! Join us for a fun day of planting as we transform a vacant lot in Price Hill into a pocket park full of native plants! The park will feature a variety of native oak trees and other plants that provide habitat to urban wildlife. With your help, we can create a beautiful gathering space for people and pollinators alike.

This workday is for anyone interested in learning more about native plants and ecological gardening, no prior knowledge or skills needed. The ability to kneel and use hand tools is recommended. Please bring gloves if you have then and a water bottle. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you’re comfortable getting dirty. All other tools and materials will be provided. Event is rain or shine.

This event is part of our 2025 Volunteer-A-Thon!
