This week we’ll be tackling the first of our spring cutbacks, starting in the Urban Rain Garden. Help clear out last year’s grasses and perennials to make room for this year’s growth. There will also be an opportunity to use gas-powered hedge trimmers for anyone who likes a little extra excitement in their gardening.
It’s really starting to look like spring, and cleanup efforts around the garden are in full swing. Join us this week to cut back last year’s perennials in our Native Food Forest as well as repair the paths and get a head start on sprouting weeds.
