Youth & School Gardens
Our programs are designed to offer a safe environment for children to play, relax, get dirty and grow food. Children interact with neighbors and community volunteers, strengthening their development and connection to the natural world. Local children and their families are welcome to plant, water, weed, play, and learn in the garden.
We want to support all of the garden education programs happening in our region and happily offer our seasonal garden lessons and 52 Weeks in the School Garden Guide for FREE! There are dozens of youth gardening programs in Greater Cincinnati, check out the map below for more info. Be sure to join us for Summer Sprouts Garden Camp, a FREE garden to table experience held in gardens around the city.
Visit our school gardens page for more information on how students and teachers are building their school community through gardening.
