Welcome back!
Victoria here, the CGC’s Community Engagement Coordinator. On behalf of the Civic Garden Center, I’d like to send you another helping of gratitude for coming out to volunteer with us. I hope you had an amazing experience and are excited to be part of the CGC’s community! Here are some ways our corporate and group volunteers choose to stay involved.
Volunteer…Again!
We offer tons of regular volunteer events on our grounds at Hauck Botanic Garden as well as in public greenspaces and at community gardens around the Greater Cincinnati area. Register as a CGC volunteer and I’ll make sure you get our monthly Volunteer HQ newsletter that’ll keep you in the loop.
Come for a Class, Concert, Tour, or Festival
The CGC offers accessible classes on everything from native plants to compost to growing food—and more! Our annual Hauck Concert Series offers four place-based musical performances, and we hold two big plant festivals per year: GrowFest in the spring and the Fall Native Plant Festival as the season winds down. We also offer free tours of our grounds (a Level 1 Arboretum), Green Learning Station, and compost systems on a regular basis. And if you’re a parent with kids between 3 and 8 years old, don’t miss our Lil’ Sprouts program!
Check our calendar or subscribe to our twice-monthly Civic Gardener eNews to stay up to date.
Donate
Many of our corporate volunteers support our work financially, and we are ever grateful for their contributions. Some give monthly, others contribute on an annual basis, and still others choose the CGC as the recipient of their employer match. We also love hearing about grants your company offers that might be right up our alley. You can always reach out to me with questions: volunteer@civicgardencenter.org
I hope to see you again soon!
