Jasminum nudiflorum
Winter Jasmine
A trailing, shrub-like vine that is native to Tibet and China.
Requires support such as an arbor or wall.
Produces yellow flowers in very early spring.
Grows well in full sun and a variety of soil conditions.
Horticulturist’s Notes: Winter jasmine blooms on last year’s wood so prune right after flowering for best results. Plant can become messy and scraggly with age and may need to be cut down to 2 feet to promote new growth.
