Hydrangea arborescens ‘Abetwo’
Incrediball Hydrangea

  • This popular cultivar of the native smooth hydrangea is an improved version of the Annabelle variety.

  • It has massive flower clusters that fade from green to bright white in early summer and last all the way until fall, then remain as attractive dried flower heads through winter.

  • Its thick, straight stems grow about 3 feet tall and spread to reach 5 feet wide.

  • It prefers part shade and moist, well-drained soil.

  • Drought will cause this plant to dramatically wilt, although it can perk back up after watering.

  • Horticulturist’s Notes: Prune to the ground in late winter to encourage vigorous stems growth and large flowers.
