Clumping Bamboo
- Clumping bamboo, also called hardy bamboo, is native to the mountains of western China. 
- It is an evergreen variety that can reach 10 feet tall and wide but does not spread in the landscape. 
- Prefers partial shade and rich, well-drained soil. 
- It can struggle in hot, humid climates but does well in the Cincinnati area with adequate shade. 
- Drought tolerant and deer resistant.
