Join ReRooted and learn to propagate native plants!

We need your help this spring to grow 80 different species of native plants for our ReRooted program. This week, volunteers will work with CGC staff to carefully sow seeds that have spent all winter preparing to sprout. You’ll learn how to properly stratify, plant and grow indoors several varieties of native plants. This is a great opportunity for those looking to propagate their own plants at home or for volunteers who would like something a little less strenuous than our usual Hands on at Hauck workdays.

No prior knowledge or skills needed. Whether you’re totally new to gardening or have many years of experience, this workday is for you! Please bring gloves if you have them and a water bottle. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you’re comfortable getting dirty. All other tools and materials will be provided.
