Managing Invasive Plants

  • The Civic Garden Center 2715 Reading Road Cincinnati, OH, 45206 United States (map)

Are you struggling to manage invasive plants on your property?

This class will walk you through each step in the restoration process, from properly identifying the plants to developing a long-term management plan. We will discuss a variety of removal techniques for some of our most common invasive plants here in southwest Ohio. We'll also cover planting and long-term monitoring to ensure your project is sustainable. You'll receive a small-scale land management plan outline to help guide your efforts following the class.

This class is ideal for those with three acres or less to manage; however, the principles can be scaled up.

INSTRUCTOR: Sam Settlemyre, CGC Conservation Program Manager
