Incredible Edible Insects

  • The Civic Garden Center 2715 Reading Road Cincinnati, OH, 45206 United States (map)

If you've never eaten an insect, now's your chance! Learn about our relationship with our six-legged friends, from food and farming- to cultural connection. We'll explore the history of edible insects around the world and how to eat and cook with insects. And if you want, you'll get to taste something with real insects in it! By the end of the class, we hope you've found a sense of hope and appreciation for insects.

This class is for learners of all ages. We'll learn what an insect is, make sure we can properly identify insects, look at different edible options and go over some recipes.

Please note that if you have a shellfish allergy, it is recommended that you do not eat insects.
