As Cincinnati continues to grow, greenspace becomes more important than ever. Access to nature plays a major role in keeping communities happy and healthy. That’s why we have big plans to transform the CUF Restoration Site on the corner of Marshall and McMicken into an urban nature sanctuary!
Help us break ground this fall by planting a Green Buffer of native shrubs and perennials that will welcome future visitors to the site and beautify a busy intersection.
This workday is for anyone interested in learning more about native plants and ecological gardening. No prior knowledge or skills needed. The ability to kneel and use hand tools is recommended.
Please bring gloves if you have then and a water bottle. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you’re comfortable getting dirty. All other tools and materials will be provided.
This event counts toward our 2026 Volunteer-A-Thon!
