Did you know the CGC has a long-running book club where friends gather to discuss nature-themed novels? It’s one of our best kept secrets…but now the secret is out!

Starting in 2027, we’re opening the CGC Book Club up to our community and inviting you to come and read with us. We'll meet on Wednesdays, 1/20, 3/24, 7/21, and 10/20, from 12-1:30pm at the Civic Garden Center.

Our March book is The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert. This sweeping novel of desire, ambition, and the thirst for knowledge tells the story of a brilliant 19th century botanist.

Register to reserve your spot, read the book, then join us on March 24! We’ll have discussion questions prepared to get the conversation flowing. All you need to bring is yourself (and a baked good to share, if you'd like).
