AH Johnson Garden Dedication

  • MLK Community Garden 918 Burton Avenue Cincinnati, OH, 45229 United States (map)

It is often said that gardeners are the ultimate optimists, planting seeds today while dreaming of the beauty tomorrow. For over two decades, AH Johnson has been the heart and soul of the MLK Garden, nurturing not only the soil but also the spirit of the community.

To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow, and the MLK Community Garden stands as a symbol of our shared hope and commitment to the future. Dr. Johnson has taught many that a garden is more than just plants; it is a lesson in patience and a study of resilience. Because she has given so much of herself to this space, we feel it is only fitting to honor her contribution permanently.

Join us as we dedicate and transition the MLK Community Garden to the AH Johnson Community Garden, where this space will remain a place to cultivate better health, better community, and a better tomorrow!

Registration is not required. Parking is available on Burton Ave.
