Hamilton County Crisis Center
Pollinator Garden
The Talbert House’s long history of empowering community members to live healthy, safe and productive lives blends seamlessly with the Civic Garden Center’s mission to build community through gardening and education. At the new Hamilton County Crisis Center, a front yard pollinator garden will welcome visitors and put them instantly at ease. The space will be an ideal companion to the more private therapy garden, setting a tone for emotional healing through exposure to nature—even in an urban environment.
The healing properties of gardens are well known. As people pass through the center seeking vital resources and support, this pollinator garden will become a piece of their journey towards recovery.
