  • It can reach 5 feet tall and produces tiny white flowers in mid-summer.

  • Flowers are attractive to butterflies and other pollinators.

  • Indian hemp is highly poisonous but it was once commonly used for medicinal reasons and its fibrous stems were traditionally used to make rope.

  • Drought tolerant and deer resistant.
