Green Teens Field Studies

As part of our Green Teens program, the Civic Garden Center’s Green Learning Station is home to hands-on sustainability and ecology field studies that empower students in grades 7-12 to practice innovative solutions to today’s environmental issues.

How It Works

Trained guides lead groups of students through a series of inquiry-based, hands-on activities that build on previous knowledge and immerse learners in the fascinating world of sustainability and environmental stewardship. Throughout the field study, students observe the intentional preservation of natural cycles, work together to identify and discuss problems, learn progressive actions around the globe that build sustainable futures for generations to come and determine personal actions they can take to contribute to a healthy planet.
