Interested in rainwater harvesting? Join us to celebrate Earth Day at our next collaborative Rain Barrel Workshop at Rhinegeist! Using 55-gallon, heavy-duty, recycled food grade drums donated by Rhinegeist, Kate Cook will walk you through step by step how to build your own rain barrel and how best to use it around your home. Payment for this class includes a rain barrel, rain barrel kit, and information about how to use and maintain your rain barrel. The barrels are approximately 24 inches wide and 36 inches tall, so participants should make sure to bring a vehicle that can transport the barrel home with you after the class.
