Join us for our Yoga in the Garden! We will be offering classes the last Monday of every month. Through this partnership with Melting Yoga and Vitality Cincinnati, Erin Crowley will instruct us through soft, gradual hatha yoga style sequencing – linking the breath with movement. Classes will be focused upon restorative flow and gentle yogic practices, including varied meditation/relaxation exercises.
Becoming aware of and easing the mind through gentle movement. Nurturing ourselves to become of better service to others. Developing compassion for self and others, supporting the power of community and philanthropy, and embracing the beauty of nature that surrounds us.
Donation-Based Giveback Opportunity:
Melting Yoga is partnering with the CGC to offer the series by donation (suggested $5 and/or 5 non-perishable foods or goods; or contribute what you are able). Please feel free to choose one or BOTH options!
Cash donations will support our local Civic Garden Center and non-perishable goods will support the current food desert existing in our neighboring community of Walnut Hills. We encourage non-perishable foods (including baby foods) but also personal-care items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine care and other toiletries.
See below for details on how the food and goods will be distributed to…
Walnut Hills is experiencing a food desert that has been restricting locals from a grocery since the local Kroger closed. Melting Yoga delivers the goods to mini food banks for humans in need around Cincinnati. The “Food Bots” are made from recycled newspaper dispensers by People’s Pantry Cincinnati.
