Host Your Next Event at the Civic Garden Center

An urban, yet lush retreat, nestled in the middle of the city, immediately off I-71 and minutes from the University of Cincinnati, local hospitals and Downtown—the Civic Garden Center (CGC) is central Cincinnati’s best kept secret! Our unique space is perfect for gatherings such as:

Why host at the CGC?

By hosting your event at the CGC, you’re directly supporting a nonprofit organization that’s served Cincinnati since 1942. But that’s not the only reason to choose the CGC!

  • Free use of our 6-ft x 2.5-ft tables, chairs and four high tops (or bring your own)

  • Any caterers permitted

  • Free parking on grounds and in Green Learning Station parking lot as well as additional parking nearby

  • Use of kitchen for prepping and staging food

  • On-site facilities staff during your event

  • Gardens, waterfall and walking paths throughout the grounds

What spaces are available?

When you rent the CGC, you have access to several unique spaces:

Auditorium:

  • 1,125 square feet

  • Can be divided into two or three rooms using folding walls

  • Seating for 75 people at tables and chairs or up to 120 people theater-style

  • Stage and AV hookup

Patio and Pergola:

  • Seating for up to 50 people on the patio and up to 40 under the walkway pergola

Gardens:

  • Shade Garden

  • Serenity Garden with Waterfall Herb Garden

  • Rooftop Garden

  • Vegetable Garden

  • Children’s Garden

Tours and Pricing

Rental fees are $150 per hour before 5pm and $250 per hour after 5pm.
