History

West End Community Garden was built in 1990.

In 2005 it was refurbished with new raised beds, water system, a pergola built by Cincinnati State Landscape Construction class, and a shelter built by inmates from Warren Correctional Institute. It is gardened by neighborhood residents and children with Project Connect, a program through Cincinnati Public Schools designed for children who are experiencing homelessness.
